- In projects, selection of a suitable mining method,
equipment selection and fleet estimation
- Financial studies for assessing projects viability
- Involvement in techno-economics audits
- Life of mine plans
GEOTECHNICAL AND GEO-HYDROLOGY
Safety and the drive for zero harm are essential priorities when conducting mining projects with geotechnical
and geo-hydrological parameters being some of the key input parameters to be considered in designs to
ensure the safety of the personnel and equipment.
The following services are offered within these disciplines:
- Geotechnical logging and sample analysis
- Geo-hydrological logging and sample analysis
- Slope stability modeling; underground stress regime modeling
- Geotechnical and geo-hydrogeological risk assessments
PROCESS ENGINEERING
For the purpose of increasing the grade of a mineral mined beneficiation plants are usually required, services provided by NRR in these regards are:
- Plant simulation including CAPEX and OPEX estimation
- In coal for example software packages like LIMS are used
